New Committee of JCI Dhaka Central announced

JCI Dhaka Central, a local chapter of JCI Bangladesh under Junior Chamber International, has concluded its most recent general assembly (GA) and general membership meeting (GMM) for the year. This November 3rd event, held in the capital’s Banani Club NotreDamians, announced the new committee of the local organization for the year 2024.

Under the chairmanship of the current local president of the organization, Raihan Akbor Tutul, the general members met and Raihan Akbor Tutul presented a detailed report on the treasury and the projects that were carried out this year.

The 2024 Executive Committee Election was held in the presence of JCI National Board Director Habibur Rahman Jewel served as the Election Commissioner in the General Assembly. The election was held in presence of JCI Bangladesh President Ziaul Haque Bhuiyan, Deputy National President Imran kadir, National Secretary General Kamrul Islam Chowdhury, National Executive Vice President Seyed Mosayeb Alam , National Treasurer and former Local President of JCI Central Erfan Haque, Executive Assistant to National President Abdullah Safi and other JCI Bangladesh National Board Officials.

Mr. Khasro Ahmed was elected as the local president of JCI Dhaka Central for the year 2024 with the consent of all the members in the election. The new executive committee was sworn in under the leadership of current local president Raihan Akbor Tutul. Then in the 2024 committee, Shihab Bin Sayeed as Local Executive Vice President, Md Ashraf Uddin Sikder and Shohan Mahmud as Local Vice President, Sharmina Islam and Golam Mostofa Rocky as Local Director, Mansura Yesmin Moyna as Local Treasurer and Shaik Rashadul Bari Iqbal as Local Secretary General were elected.

JCI is an international organization of young professionals and leadership locals aged 18 to 40 years. The headquarters of the organization is located in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. At present, JCI Bangladesh with 40 local organizations and more than 4000 members is working in the service of society and community at the national level.
