The Chief of the Indian Army, General Manoj Pandey, has extended an invitation to General S.M. Shafiuddin Ahmed, the Chief of the Bangladesh Army, to participate in the upcoming Indo-Pacific Chiefs of Armies Symposium (IPS) to be held in New Delhi, India.

On Thursday, September 14th, Bangladesh’s military leadership received this invitation via telephone communication, as announced by the Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR) department.

It presents an opportunity for senior military officials to work together, exchange knowledge, and strengthen cooperation in various aspects of defense and security.

This invitation signifies the potential for enhanced bilateral relations and future cooperation between the armed forces of both countries.

The ISPR expressed gratitude for the invitation and conveyed optimism regarding the prospects for further strengthening the ties between the military forces of Bangladesh and India through this symposium.
