Bangladesh Oil, Gas and Mineral Resources Corporation (Petrobangla) has published a new recruitment notice. The company will recruit 753 people in grades 9 and 10. The last date for applications is November 17.
Here is a simple guide on how to apply online yourself.
1. Access to the website

1. Apply through Teletalk or Petrobangla website.
2. Fill out the application form
Upon entering the website, you will see radio buttons for Advertisement, Instruction for Submitting Application, and the application form prescribed for the 41st category posts. Clicking on the radio button for Advertisement will provide the application form.
Following the instructions, you must provide the required information in each cell of the form. Cells marked with a red star must be filled in. You must provide your National Identity Card (NID) number or birth registration number on the form.
Determining the organization’s priorities
The order of preference will be determined among the institutions mentioned in the recruitment notice. Candidates will be nominated for appointment in the concerned institution, subject to the availability of vacant posts, based on merit and preference.
The order of institution preference cannot be changed after submitting the application.
4. Upload images
Once the application form is completed, a preview will be displayed. You will need to upload your color photo in the designated area in the preview. Black and white photos will not be accepted.
The image size must be 300×300 pixels, format JPG, and file size must be a maximum of 100 kilobytes.
5. Upload signature
You will need to upload your signature in the designated space. The signature size should be 300×80 pixels, format JPG, and file size should be a maximum of 60 kilobytes.
6. Submit application
All information provided in the application form must be declared to be correct and true. If any information is found to be false or misleading, if any ineligibility is found, or if any irregularities are found, the candidature may be cancelled at any stage.
If the application is successfully submitted, you will receive a copy of the applicant’s photo and signature. The copy should be downloaded or printed and saved. It will contain a user ID.
7. Deposit of examination fee
After submitting the application, the examination fee must be paid through two SMSes from the Teletalk prepaid mobile number.
First SMS: BOGMC in mobile message option
A return SMS will be sent informing you of the fee amount and PIN number.
Second SMS: BOGMC
If the fee is successful, it will be notified in a return SMS. As per the instructions of the notification, 669 taka will be deposited for the ninth grade post and 558 taka for the tenth grade post.
**Applications will not be accepted until the examination fee is deposited.
8. Collection of admit cards
The release of admit cards will be announced on Teletalk and Petrobangla websites and via SMS on mobile phones.
